Giesemann offer the Ultimate in T5 Technology

GIESEMANN have long been regarded as an industry pioneer, with over 20 years at the very forefront of lighting development for both marine and freshwater aquariums.

BRAND NEW FOR 2014, GIESEMANN has introduced its new range of T5 lamps to complement its already extensive lighting range which includes other lamps such as the highly regarded MEGACHROME series.

Designed to be one of the highest quality, yet affordable T5 lamps available to hobbyist and professional worldwide and denoted by their new and distinctive black packaging, GIESEMANN has carefully selected the spectral qualities for this new range of marine and freshwater tubes to continue GIESEMANN´s tradition of excellence within the field of aquarium lighting.

The new Giesemann lamps will be available August of 2014 through CoralVue.

With GIESEMANN's new 2014 T-5 series, we offer the very latest HO (high output) fluorescent technology, using the latest advances in Tri and Penta-phosphor blending to Giesemann’s own specifications. These phosphor blends are characterized by exceptionally high output performance, long life span, consistent coloration combined with high levels of spectral stability over time, and have been specifically developed for use with all dimmable units including Giesemann's own class leading MATRIXX-II DIMTEC lighting system.

The 2014 Giesemann T-5 range is available in 7 stunning colors and in 4 common sizes available in 24, 39, 54 and 80 watts. Incorporated into this range are 5 dedicated Marine versions with phosphor blends that provide excellent PAR levels to enhance the color and growth of corals while also producing an excellent light rendition for optimum aesthetics, and 2 dedicated freshwater versions called TROPIC and SUPERFLORA which are perfect for tropical aquariums and for the illumination of freshwater planted aquariums to achieve lush, vibrant, and healthy plant growth.

Our new Giesemann T5 lamps are recommended for aquariums that have a greater water depth, or those requiring supplemental fill-in lighting in situations where more focused main light sources can result in shading.
Optimum results are achieved within reef aquariums when using the Giesemann T5 lamps in combination with MEGACHROME metal halide bulbs.
Giesemann T5 lamps are recommended and supplied as standard with all GIESEMANN MATRIXX-II and MATRIXX-DIMTEC T5 light units running high quality Phillips ballasts.
