Office Support Associate

CoralVue is looking for a dedicated and highly motivated professional to serve as an Office Support Associate. This position is responsible for assisting in all incoming product orders as well as performing checks and balances on incoming merchandise. Position is in Slidell, Louisiana.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, packaging, and shipping orders. Ensuring accuracy on quantity, products, addresses and shipping methods
  • Receive new merchandise and safely transport product to the appropriate location
  • Identify any missing, lost, or damaged material while receiving product document invoice and notify manager
  • Manage all merchandise with appropriate care
  • Assist in training of all newly employed associates
  • Assist all departments when necessary
  • Ensure all housekeeping guidelines (cleanliness) are followed

 

Requirements:

  • Computer proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Maintain a valid driver's license
  • Regularly lift/carry/move up to 50lbs, occasionally lift/carry/move 100lbs
  • Work outside, sometimes in extremely hot temperatures
  • Organizational skills, ability to do basic math, and read a tape measure

 

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Office/Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience (or general knowledge of) the aquarium industry, is a plus

  • Eight Hour Shifts

Warehouse Associate

CoralVue is looking for a hardworking individual to serve as a Warehouse Associate/Repair Technician. This position will require picking, packing, and shipping inventory using our order management system. Receiving and shipping of daily freight. Ability to lift 50-70lbs. Forklift experience is a plus and computer skills is required. The bob will require technical skills to repair and assemble saltwater aquarium equipment. Aquarium/pet hobbyist preferred.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive shipments daily; this includes inventory that needs to be checked into the inventory management software and put away to warehouse location. Includes repairs that need to be checked in using the CoralVue support portal.
  • On a daily basis, pick, pack, and ship small and large pallet orders using the order management software
  • Load and unload freight daily including ocean containers on occasion
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and office with general housekeeping

 

Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking

 

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Associates Degree or equivalent from technical college preferred
  • Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience (or general knowledge of) the aquarium industry, is a plus

Electrical Circuit Board Assembler

CoralVue is looking for a hardworking individual to serve as an Electrical Circuit Board Assembler. This position will require assembly of electronic components onto printed circuit boards. It will also require soldering of components and cables. Position is in Slidell, Louisiana.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Read and comprehend instructions for circuit board assembly
  • Solder, inspect, and package circuit boards
  • Perform SMT soldering of printed circuit boards
  • Operate machinery in PCB areas including SMT line and desoldering machine
  • Ensure that parts and boards are in good working order
  • Assemble as well as mount components onto printed circuit boards
  • Perform activities like twisting, bending, trimming, and stripping wire lead of components
  • Keep track of component parts
  • Install plastic insulating sleeves around wire leads
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair printed circuit boards in to ensure conformance
  • Handle customer return analysis and repair activities
  • Repairs and testing of equipment including but not limited to water pumps, water filters, led lighting; report findings to support personnel or possibly customers via our support portal.
