The IceCap 48 Reef Sump V2 was developed and built around the requirements of a modern-day reef aquarist. Its attention to detail, practical design, and overall aesthetic appeal will exceed any expectations.

This modern-day reef sump features a spill-over design in the micron bag compartment with compartment lids for quiet operation. The Reef Sump was constructed to adapt to your filtration needs with adjustable baffles, a triple probe holder, and plenty of room for equipment such as skimmers, heaters, return pumps, and reactors.

What changed?

The IceCap 48in Reef Sump has undergone some changes. The freshwater reservoir has been removed, and multiple 4-inch socks have been replaced with a single 7-inch sock prefilter. Additionally, new drains and a built-in holder for the heaters have been added. It's important to note that the exterior dimensions, skimmer compartment, and return sections remain the same size between versions 1 and 2.
