  • Non-Photosynthetic Corals

  • Clams

  • Fish

It Starts with Quality Salt—And You’re Getting the Best

Every batch of Aquaforest Reef Salt is ICP-OES tested to ensure the levels are perfect for a mixed reef aquarium. You can even check your batch number online to see a complete elemental analysis for the batch of salt you are using. Aquaforest Reef Salt mixes clean and quickly so you can use it almost immediately. The parameters are modeled after a real ocean reef, so you’ll get all the micro and macronutrients required for vigorous coral growth and proper pigmentation.

Aquaforest Reef Salt Parameters at 33ppt / 75.2° F

  • Cl: 19000 – 19500 mg/l

You can also purchase additional Aquaforest Reef Salt if you have a larger system.

What’s in The Box?

  1. Reef Salt: A fully synthetic marine salt created for cultured corals. The formula is designed to create the best conditions for marine life. Every batch is ICP tested.

  2. Life Bio Fil: A natural biological filter media. Bacterial strains initiate the nitrification process almost immediately. Life Bio Fil should be placed in a sump or filter area with good water flow.

  3. Bio S: Contains specially selected bacterial strains that create a perfect environment for the cultivation of Nitrospirae and Nitrobacteraceae bacteria which are responsible for the nitrogen cycle.

  4. TestPro Nitrate: Nitrate levels in reef aquariums should be 2-5 mg/l (ppm). This test kit contains enough reagents to perform 40 tests of your tank’s nitrate concentration.

  5. TestPro Alkalinity: This test kit contains enough reagents to perform 78-100 separate alkalinity tests within the 6.5-8.5 dKH range.

  6. Fish V: A multivitamin designed for all ornamental fish, both saltwater and freshwater. Fish V contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D3, E, K3 and biotin, alanine, choline, cysteine, glutamine, leucine, lysine, serine and tyrosine.

  7. Component A: Part 1 of 3. Designed for supplementing minor microelement deficiencies.

  8. Component B: Part 2 of 3. Designed for supplementing minor microelement deficiencies.

  9. Component C: Part 3 of 3. Designed for supplementing minor microelement deficiencies.

  10. KH Plus: For raising carbonate hardness in saltwater aquariums.

  11. Carbon: A high-quality activated granular carbon filter media. Unlike phosphoric acid-activated carbon media, Aquaforest Carbon is activated by steam—so it doesn’t contain any phosphate. Carbon removes pollutants, odors, and discolorations resulting in a cleaner tank with better light penetration for photosynthetic animals.

  12. Phosphate Minus: This filter media can be used in a fluidized media reactor or a filter bag in an area with good water flow. It adsorbs phosphate and silicates from seawater before the can fuel nuisance algae growth.
