Maintaining stable salinity and water level consistency in marine aquariums depends on reliable automated freshwater replenishment. The IceCap ATO Controller (SKU: IC-ATO-CTRL) is the official OEM replacement control unit designed specifically for the IceCap Auto Top Off System. In humid under-cabinet environments, controller modules can suffer from accidental liquid splashes, salt creep exposure, or electrical power surges, leading to erratic pump triggering or total loss of function.
This compact replacement controller acts as the central brain of your top-off setup. It interprets real-time signals from dual optical water level sensors, powering the 12V DC top-off pump only when evaporation causes water levels to drop below the primary sensor tip. Built-in algorithmic safeguards prevent over-filling by shutting off pump power if a fill cycle exceeds standard run times, safeguarding your reef display against dangerous salinity drops.

Warranty is activated on the date of purchase.
This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse, or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of the owner's or his agent's first knowledge of the defect.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given the first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature, however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.

Installation & Set-Up Guidelines:
Unplug the AC power adapter supplying your existing IceCap ATO system.
Disconnect the optical sensor plug, DC pump connector, and power cord leads from the old controller module.
Mount the new IC-ATO-CTRL module on an interior cabinet wall above the water line using adhesive hook-and-loop tape or mounting brackets.
Plug the optical sensor harness, DC top-off pump lead, and power supply cable into their respective designated ports on the new controller.
Re-energize system power and observe status LEDs to confirm normal sensor sensing and auto top-off sequencing.
Pro Tips:
Mount Controller Away From Sump Splashes. To prevent moisture damage, always mount the ATO controller box on the upper wall or exterior side of your aquarium cabinet. Never lay the controller on the floor of the stand or directly over open sump compartments.
Test Safety Shut-Off Periodically. Every few months, manually lift the optical sensor magnet array out of the water while the pump is running to confirm that the controller properly detects the water level change and activates its safety shut-off feature.
