The IceCap 3K/4K Driver Door (SKU: IC-GP3K-DOOR) is the official OEM replacement battery bay cover designed for the IceCap 3K and IceCap 4K Gyre Flow Pump Controllers. Underneath aquarium stands where humidity and salt creep are present, missing or broken controller doors expose internal battery contacts and circuit components to premature corrosion.
This replacement door snaps flush into the back casing of the gyre driver module, locking the internal memory battery securely in its slot. By maintaining proper contact pressure on the backup battery, it ensures your controller retains programmed pulse modes, flow intensities, and feed cycles during temporary power interruptions.

Installation & Replacement Guidelines:
Unplug the IceCap 3K or 4K controller power cable from the wall outlet or surge protector.
Ensure the CR2032 backup battery is properly seated in the controller's rear battery cavity.
Align the bottom tab of the new IC-GP3K-DOOR with the slot on the controller back housing.
Press the top edge inward until the locking clip snaps securely into position.
Reconnect power to the controller and verify that your stored wave programming remains active.
Pro Tips:
- Check Memory Battery During Replacement. When replacing a lost or broken driver door, take a moment to replace the internal coin cell backup battery (CR2032) if it has been in service for more than 12–18 months. Fresh batteries guarantee program retention during power outages.
- Keep Controllers Above Sump Water Lines. Even with the driver door properly snapped into place, mount your gyre controller on the outside of your aquarium stand or elevated high on an interior wall to prevent accidental water splashes and salt spray accumulation.
