Whether your original dry magnet was misplaced during a system move, damaged, or dropped, this factory replacement restores full mounting security to keep your pump running safely at high flow speeds.
Encased in a durable plastic housing, this dry-side mount houses high-strength neodymium rare-earth magnets that clamp tightly through aquarium glass or acrylic up to 5/8" thick. The contact face is lined with a smooth protective cushion that slides smoothly along glass surfaces during adjustments without causing scratches.
Important Handling Precaution
Neodymium magnets generate extreme magnetic attraction force. Always handle with care when positioning near the wet-side pump mount to prevent pinch injuries or accidental impact against glass panels.

Installation & Set-Up Guidelines:
Clean the exterior aquarium glass surface where you plan to position the gyre pump to remove dust or fingerprints.
Hold the internal wet-side gyre assembly in position against the interior glass with one hand.
Slide the IC-GP4K-DRYMAG onto the exterior glass from several inches away, bringing it into alignment with the interior mount gradually.
Adjust the height and angle of the pump assembly as needed by sliding the dry magnet smoothly along the glass surface.
Pro Tips:
- Never Snap Magnets Directly Together. Never allow the dry-side magnet to snap directly onto the wet-side mount without glass in between. The intense magnetic force can shatter plastic housings, crush internal padding, or pinch fingers severely.
- Slide Into Place—Do Not Slap Against Glass. When installing, place the dry magnet on the glass 4 to 6 inches away from the wet side, then slowly slide it toward the pump until the magnetic attraction engages. Slapping the magnet straight onto the glass can crack thin glass panels.
