Molded in an eye-catching bright orange finish, these propellers allow aquarists to customize the appearance of their wavemaker while restoring full output efficiency.
This matched set includes one "A" directional propeller and one "B" directional propeller. The opposing blade orientations are precision-molded to create the signature cross-flow gyre pattern that moves massive volumes of water across the entire length of the aquarium. Manufactured from durable, UV-stabilized ABS plastic, these high-visibility propellers resist saltwater degradation and maintain structural integrity under continuous rotation.
Installation Note
Always ensure that the propeller marked A is installed on side A of the motor housing and propeller B is installed on side B. Reversing the propellers will drastically reduce water output and alter the intended directional flow pattern.

Installation & Replacement Guidelines:
Disconnect power to the IceCap 3K or 4K Gyre Pump controller and remove the pump from your aquarium.
Remove the outer cage assemblies on both sides of the center motor block.
Slide the old or worn propellers off the ceramic shaft assembly.
Match the directional markings on the new orange propellers with the corresponding side of the motor housing (A to A, B to B).
Slide the new IC-GP4K-PROPA-B-OR propellers firmly onto the drive shaft, reattach the cages, and return the pump to your tank.
Pro Tips:
Visual Inspection Advantage. The bright orange color makes it exceptionally easy to visually check propeller rotation and spot any trapped algae, snail shells, or detritus without removing the pump from the aquarium.
Clean Propellers During Monthly Maintenance. Soak the propeller blades in warm white vinegar or citric acid solution every 30 to 60 days. Removing coralline algae and organic film prevents weight imbalances that cause motor noise and premature shaft wear.
