- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse, or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of the owner's or his agent's first knowledge of the defect.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given the first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature, however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.

- Completely unplug the main DC power supply from your wall outlet to remove all voltage from your wave pump assembly.
- Unscrew the threaded, waterproof locking collar that links your pump's motor cable to your controller or existing wire extension.
- Pull the connection straight apart gently without twisting, which can bend the internal copper contact pins.
- Align the internal indexing keyway slot of your new ROP-OP2-CBL cable with the pins of your pump lead, and push them together firmly.
- Thread the waterproof outer collar clockwise hand-tight to compress the rubber O-ring seal and keep moisture out.
- Route the remaining end of the wire back to your controller port, align the pins, screw down the final locking collar, and re-energize your system.
Pro Tips:
- Always Loop Your Cables to Defeat Salt Creep. When routing this power cable inside your wooden aquarium stand, make sure to form a distinct downward sag—a drip loop—in the line right before it plugs into your controller or wall outlet. If condensation, leaks, or salt creep ever run down your pump line, the loop forces the liquid to pool at the lowest curve of the wire and drip harmlessly onto the cabinet floor rather than migrating straight into the electrical contact terminals.
- Never Use Pliers to Tighten the Locking Collars. The threaded waterproof collars on these extensions are designed to establish an airtight moisture seal through hand-tightening alone. Never use heavy metal pliers, channel locks, or wrenches to snug down the collars. Over-torquing with hand tools can strip the plastic threads or crack the internal rubber O-ring seal, which actually allows humid air or water tracking to sneak inside and short out your pump line.
- Keep the Plugs Clean During Maintenance. Whenever you disconnect this cable to take your pump down to the sink for a vinegar cleaning bath, cover the open cable ends with small plastic bags or painters tape. If soapy rinse water or splash drops dry inside the open pin holes, they leave behind trace mineral scale that can disrupt electrical current flow or cause phantom error codes when you plug everything back together.
