This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse, or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of the owner's or his agent's first knowledge of the defect.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given the first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature, however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.

- Unplug the wavemaker’s primary 24V power supply brick from the wall socket to completely de-energize the pump circuit.
- Remove the submerged wet-side pump assembly from your aquarium and place it on a clean, steady workspace.
- Twist the front slotted flow cage counter-clockwise to unlock it, then slide it straight off the front of the motor block.
- Firmly grip the propeller blades and pull the old impeller assembly straight out of the center motor well (expect a slight magnetic tug).
- Thoroughly rinse the empty internal motor cavity with fresh RO/DI water to clear out any loose sand grains or calcified buildup.
- Verify that a rubber bushing is seated at the very bottom of the motor well, slide your new ROP-OP4-IMPLR assembly smoothly into the cavity, reinstall the front cage, and place the pump back in the tank.
- Never Run the Impeller Inside a Dry Motor Block. This high-speed direct current wavemaker relies on surrounding aquarium water to continuously lubricate and cool the ceramic shaft during rotation. Never plug your pump into a controller to test the new impeller while holding it dry on your countertop. Running the assembly without water coverage causes immediate frictional heat buildup that can warp the internal plastic sleeve, crack the ceramic shaft, or ruin your new impeller instantly.
- Keep Track of the Tiny Rear Rubber Bushing. When you pull your old impeller out for maintenance or replacement, the tiny rubber bushing at the back of the ceramic shaft will often stick to the tip of the shaft or remain wedged at the absolute bottom of the motor well. Always double-check that this rubber cushion is centered and seated flat before sliding the new impeller into place. Operating the pump without this dampener causes the shaft to wobble under load, resulting in loud grinding noises and premature wear.
- Clean Away Calcium Crust with Citric Acid Baths. Over time, white calcium carbonate crust and pink coralline algae will naturally build up on the propeller blades and inside the magnetic rotor sleeve. Do not attempt to scrape this hard mineral crust off with metal razor blades or screwdrivers, which can easily scratch the magnet's polymer shield or chip the blades. Instead, soak the assembly in a warm bath of water mixed with pure citric acid powder for 20 minutes to safely dissolve the scale down to a factory-clean finish.
