- Clean the pipe ends and the internal sockets of the tee with a dedicated PVC cleaner.
- Apply a layer of PVC primer to the pipe ends and all three internal sockets of the tee.
- Apply a liberal coat of heavy-duty solvent cement (specifically rated for large-diameter pipe) to both components.
- Push the pipes into the tee until they seat fully, giving a slight quarter-turn to ensure even glue distribution.
- Hold firmly for 60 seconds per joint. Allow at least 8–12 hours to cure before introducing high-pressure water.

- Metric vs. Standard 4-Inch. A 110mm metric tee will not fit standard US 4-inch pipe. 110mm is approximately 4.33 inches, while US 4-inch pipe has a 4.5-inch OD. Always verify your pipe diameter with a caliper before beginning a permanent installation.
