Compact Water Pump for Smaller Aquarium Systems
The IceCap EVO 1000 is the smallest model in IceCap's EVO pump lineup, built to be compact, quiet, and energy-efficient for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It can be used as a return pump, to provide flow to a media reactor, to feed an algae scrubber, or for other general water-moving tasks in the system.
Delivering up to 264 GPH with 3.6ft of maximum head height, the EVO 1000 suits smaller aquariums or applications that don't need high-volume flow, while its 15-watt draw keeps it economical to run continuously.
Key Features:
- Delivers up to 264 GPH of flow
- Maximum head height of 3.6ft
- Runs on just 15 watts for efficient 24/7 operation
- Compact 5 x 3.75 x 4.5in size fits smaller sumps and cabinets
- 1/2–3/4in hose barb outlet fits standard aquarium plumbing
- Suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums
- Backed by a 1-year limited warranty
Ideal For:
- Small to nano aquarium return pump applications
- Feeding a single media reactor or algae scrubber
- Hobbyists with limited sump or cabinet space
Pro Tips:
- Match head height to your plumbing run. With a 3.6ft maximum head, the EVO 1000 works best for shorter vertical lifts rather than tall sump-to-display setups.
- Check your outlet size before plumbing in. The 1/2–3/4in hose barb outlet fits most standard tubing without extra adapters.
