- Turn off the skimmer pump and remove the skimmer from the sump.
- Remove the skimmer body from the base to access the Aquatrance pump.
- Disconnect the bubble chamber and unscrew the old adapter from the pump output.
- Clean the pump threads with a soft brush to remove any salt or calcium deposits.
