Adjustable Flow Pump Up to 790 gph for Tanks 10-25 Gallons
The IceCap FP-60 is a compact, magnetic-mounted flow pump designed for nano and small aquariums from 10 to 25 gallons. It moves up to 790gph across ten speed settings and works in both freshwater and marine setups. The magnetic mount handles glass or acrylic up to .3in thick, which covers most standard nano and pico tank builds without drilling or plumbing.
At 10 watts max, the FP-60 is one of the lower-power options in the IceCap flow pump line while still offering the same five-mode controller as the larger FP-100 and FP-200. A light-sensing night mode drops the pump to its lowest speed automatically when the room goes dark. A 20-minute feed mode cuts flow on demand, and a controller lock prevents accidental changes.
Key Features:
- Adjustable flow from 180gph to 790gph across 10 speed settings
- Five controller presets: Constant Flow, Pulsing, Stream, Random, and Cycle modes
- Light-sensing night mode reduces flow automatically in low-light conditions
- 20-minute feed mode cuts flow at the push of a button
- Controller lock prevents accidental setting changes
- Magnetic mount supports glass or acrylic up to .3in thick
- Universal power supply accepts 100-240v input, outputs 24v/0.5a
Ideal For:
- Nano reef tanks from 10 to 25 gallons needing gentle, adjustable directed flow
- Pico tanks and small all-in-one aquariums with thin glass walls at or under .3in
- Freshwater planted nano tanks where low-power variable circulation is preferred
- Hobbyists who want automated night mode without a separate controller or timer
- Small tanks where feeding time flow shutoff matters for surface feeding fish or LPS corals
Pro Tips:
- The .3in mount limit matters on nano tanks. Many standard nano and pico tanks run thin glass or acrylic. Measure your panel thickness before purchasing. If your tank wall is over .3in, the FP-100 with its .48in limit is the next step up.
- At 180gph minimum, even speed 1 moves water. In a 10-gallon tank with strong circulation. If you find the lowest setting too aggressive for delicate corals or small fish, try positioning the pump to direct flow toward the back glass rather than across open water.
- Use Random or Pulsing mode in reef tanks. At this scale, a constant laminar stream from a single pump can create dead spots in a small aquarium quickly. Variable modes help spread flow more evenly across a compact rockscape.

Instructions:
- Separate the wetside mount from the dryside magnet before placing anything in the tank.
- Choose your pump placement. Mid-tank on the back or side wall works well for most nano setups. Confirm your glass or acrylic thickness does not exceed .3in.
- Hold the wetside mount in position inside the tank at your chosen location.
- Align the dryside magnet on the outside of the glass directly behind the wetside mount. The magnets will lock together through the glass.
- Connect the pump cable to the controller, then connect the controller to the power supply.
- Plug the power supply into a grounded outlet. The controller will power on.
- Select your preferred flow mode. Start at a lower speed setting and increase gradually while watching for livestock stress, particularly in small tanks where flow changes are felt quickly.
- To activate feed mode, press the feed button. The pump returns to normal operation after 20 minutes.
- To enable night mode, set the light-level sensitivity as described in the user guide.
- To lock the controller settings, activate the lock function as described in the user guide.
