32mm Metric Pipe Carrier
SKU: PVC-PCAR-32
- Structural Support: Provides essential stabilization for 32mm metric piping, preventing sagging and joint stress in high-flow systems.
- Metric Precision: Specifically sized to cradle 32mm metric PVC pipe (approx. 1.25" OD), the standard for Reef Octopus return and discharge lines.
- Secure Snap-Fit: Features a high-tension locking design to ensure pipes remain seated even during high-pressure water hammer.
- Corrosion Proof: Constructed from high-strength, saltwater-safe technical polymers that will not rust in humid filtration rooms.
- Vibration Isolation: Helps isolate pump vibrations from the aquarium stand or wall, leading to a quieter overall system operation.
- Ideal For: Securing primary return lines; mounting large-scale reactor feeds; organized filtration manifolds.

32mm Metric Pipe Carrier
The 32mm Metric Pipe Carrier (Pipe Clip) is a heavy-duty structural component designed for the organized and secure installation of mid-to-large diameter plumbing in professional aquarium systems. Precision-engineered to hold 32mm Metric PVC pipe, this carrier acts as a rigid mounting bracket that anchors your primary return and drain lines to walls, aquarium stands, or filtration racks.
In high-performance reef systems, 32mm pipes carry significant weight and water velocity. Without proper support, the constant vibration from high-powered pumps can cause "pipe chatter" and put lethal stress on solvent joints and bulkhead connections. This carrier provides a professional mounting point that ensures your plumbing remains perfectly aligned and stationary. Constructed from industrial-grade, non-corrosive materials, it is specifically designed to survive the harsh, humid, and salt-heavy environments of a marine aquarium sump or pump room.
Key Features
True Metric Calibration: Custom-contoured to fit the 32mm OD metric pipe used in Reef Octopus and European-spec filtration.
Professional Organization: Allows for clean, parallel plumbing runs, making it easier to identify and service lines in complex manifold systems.
High-Load Capacity: Designed to support the weight of 32mm water-filled pipes over horizontal or vertical spans.
Saltwater Safe: 100% non-metallic construction; will not rust, pit, or degrade when exposed to saltwater spray or high humidity.
Snap-In Accessibility: The bracket design allows pipes to be "snapped" in and out, facilitating easier maintenance and inspection without tools.
Ideal For
Main Return Headers: Securing the primary 32mm return lines to the interior of an aquarium cabinet.
Equipment Support: Anchoring the discharge plumbing on large Reef Octopus skimmers to prevent vibration wear.
Custom Manifolds: Building modular, organized plumbing racks for multi-tank systems or complex filtration arrays.

What’s Included:
(1) 32mm Metric Pipe Carrier (Bracket)
Specifications:
Size: 32mm
Mounting Type: Single-Screw Base Mount
Material: High-Strength Industrial Polymer
Compatibility: 32mm Metric Pipe ONLY
- Determine the necessary spacing for your carriers. For 32mm pipe, we recommend a carrier every 2–3 feet on horizontal runs to prevent sagging.
- Mark the mounting holes on your wall or rack, ensuring they are perfectly aligned.
- Secure the carrier to the surface using appropriate #10 or #12 stainless steel hardware (not included).
- Firmly press the 32mm metric pipe into the carrier until it "snaps" into the cradle.
- Ensure the pipe is supported at every change of direction (elbows) and near heavy valves or equipment.
- To remove the pipe, pull it away from the base with firm, steady pressure.
Pro Tips:
- Metric vs. Standard. A 32mm pipe carrier is designed specifically for 32mm OD metric pipe (approx. 1.26 inches). It will not fit standard US 1.25-inch pipe, which has a significantly larger 1.66-inch OD. Always confirm your pipe diameter with a caliper before mounting your brackets.
- Vibration Isolation. In systems with high-pressure pumps, minor vibrations can transfer into the aquarium stand. For maximum noise reduction, you can place a thin strip of EPDM rubber or neoprene between the pipe and the carrier to act as a vibration isolator.
- Stainless Hardware is Key. While the carrier itself is non-corrosive, always use Grade 316 Stainless Steel screws to mount the carrier to your stand or wall. Standard galvanized or zinc-plated hardware will rust quickly in a marine environment, leading to unsightly streaks and structural failure.
