- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of the owner's or his agent's first knowledge of the defect.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given the first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature, however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.

- Unplug your automatic fleece roller filter's electronic smart controller from the wall socket to prevent any accidental motor cycles during maintenance.
- Carefully lift the entire Klir Di-7 unit straight up out of your sump's filter sock tray and lay it flat on a clean, dry towel.
- If the old cap is still attached, locate the retention clips at the base of the frame. Gently pry the tabs outward with your thumbs to unlock the cap, and pull it straight down and off the chassis.
- Clean the lower mounting rim of the filter frame with a warm, damp cloth to wipe away any hard, crusty salt creep or calcified mineral buildup.
- Take your fresh CV-KLIR-DI7-CAP flow-diverting cap and align its mounting tabs with the matching receiving slots on the bottom of the filter frame.
- Press the cap firmly upwards until you hear and feel the clips snap securely into place. Ensure the cap sits completely flush against the frame, then lower the filter back into your sump tray.
Pro Tips:
- Never Operate the Klir Filter Without the Flow-Diverting Cap Installed. If you lose or break your diverter cap, do not attempt to run the filter without it. Running a "capless" roller creates a massive path of least resistance directly downward. Water will immediately flow out the open bottom rather than passing through the fleece walls, allowing 100% of your tank's physical waste to bypass your mechanical filtration entirely. This leads to rapid detritus accumulation in your return chamber and negates the purpose of the roller filter.
- Ensure Both Retaining Clips are Fully Snapped to Avoid Media Jams. When installing this fresh cap onto the bottom of your Di-7 chassis, always press firmly on both sides to verify that both retaining clips have locked into the side plate slots. If the cap is only partially engaged on one side, it will hang at a slanted angle.
