This allows resident fish to see, smell, and visually interact with the newcomers over several days without any physical contact, safely neutralizing aggressive chasing behaviors before the new additions are permanently released.

This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
- Carefully peel away the protective brown paper or clear plastic masking film from both sides of every single acrylic panel before starting assembly.
- Interlock the base plate with the two slotted longitudinal side walls, then slide the clear internal room dividers down into their respective vertical tracking channels.
- Snap the two end caps into place, and secure all adjoining corner tabs by stretching the included clear rubber locking rings firmly over the external hook notches.
- Fasten the two over-rim hanging hooks to the back plate tracking, adjusting the thumb sliders to position the isolation box at your preferred depth.
- Lower the assembled IC-RF4D into your aquarium, allowing water to flood through the slotted windows until the box sits stably along your top frame glass rim.
- Slide open the top access hatch panel, safely introduce your target specimens into their individual rooms using a soft silicone net, and slide the cover closed.
- Never Clean the Acrylic Panels with Alcohol or Ammonia-Based Sprays. When clearing away dried salt creep or algae film from your isolation box, never use generic household glass cleaners, rubbing alcohol, or Windex. Alcohol and harsh chemical detergents trigger an instantaneous reaction with cast acrylic called "crazing," which compromises the structural integrity and fills the plastic with thousands of tiny internal micro-fractures. Always wash the box down using nothing but warm fresh water and a clean, ultra-soft microfiber towel to keep your viewing windows pristine.
- Feed Both the Inside and Outside Fish Simultaneously to Build Positive Associations. To speed up the social acclimation process, try dropping premium frozen foods, brine shrimp, or seaweed pellets directly inside the isolation box while feeding your free-swimming tank residents right next to the clear exterior walls. Forcing your aggressive resident fish to feed right alongside the new additions helps build positive food associations, which can lower their territorial drive and ensure a smoother, safer release when the quarantine window ends.
- Keep the Top Water Line Below the Upper Rim of the Box. When using the height-adjustable hanging bracket to position the container inside your display tank, always make sure the upper solid plastic rim of the box sits at least 1 inch above your aquarium's active water line. If you submerge the container too deeply, aggressive tankmates on the outside can easily swim over the top rim or jump inside the compartments. Keeping the top lip elevated ensures your specimens stay safe from unwanted territorial disputes.
