Easy reefs EasySPS EVO PRO Gel Coral Food, 1500 ml
SKU: ER-ESPVP
- EasySPS EVO PRO is a 1500ml gel food made from natural marine plankton suspended in a mineral base.
- It is formulated for SPS corals that need a steady, dosing-pump-delivered source of nutrition.
- It contains particles from 0.2–400 microns, sized so SPS polyps can capture and consume them.
- The 1500ml PRO size lowers the cost per dose for larger tanks or systems dosing daily.
Easy reefs
All-natural coral & fish foods made from self-cultured marine ingredients in various formats, manufactured in Spain.
A Larger Supply of Dosing-Pump Gel Food for SPS Corals
Systems with efficient skimming and fine mechanical filtration typically strip most organic nourishment before corals can use it, and photosynthesis alone can't cover an SPS coral's full energy needs. The PRO size gives larger tanks or multi-tank systems a longer-lasting supply of that supplemental nutrition without running out between reorders. The manufacturer recommends pairing it with EasyBooster to avoid nutrient limitation and support the system's natural balance.
Key Features:
- Same plankton and mineral suspension formula as the 250ml size, in a larger 1500ml bag
- Lower cost per dose for larger tanks or daily dosing schedules
- Made from Palaemonetes varians, Tetraselmis chuii, Isochrysis galbana, and Phaeodactylum tricornutum
- Palaemonetes varians is rich in glutamine, which triggers a fast feeding response in corals
- Particle sizes from 0.2–400 microns, sized for SPS polyp capture
- Flexible, light- and oxygen-blocking bag compresses as product is used, protecting freshness after opening
What to Expect:
- Increased coral growth over time
- Higher consumption of inorganic nutrients, with nitrate and phosphate levels typically dropping as corals metabolize them
- Improved coral coloration, as amino acids and fatty acids support pigment production
- Faster consumption of calcium, carbonates, and magnesium — monitor these parameters closely as coral growth speeds up
Ideal For:
- Larger SPS-dominated reef tanks with higher daily dosing volumes
- Hobbyists who want to reduce how often they reorder coral food
- Multi-tank systems sharing one dosing supply
Pro Tips:
- Follow the weekly ramp-up schedule rather than jumping straight to full dose. Start at 1ml/day in week one, increasing by 1ml each week until reaching 4ml/day (the maintenance dose) by week four.
- Recalculate your total daily dose based on your system's full water volume, especially if you're running the PRO size across a sump-connected multi-tank setup.
- Store the bag in a cool, dark, dry place. Keep storage temperature below 25°C (77°F); in warmer months, store in a climate-controlled room if needed.
- Dose near an internal circulation pump. This helps disperse the gel food evenly through the tank instead of settling in one spot.
- You don't need to turn off your skimmer while dosing.

Instructions:
Weekly Ramp-Up Schedule (per 250L of tank water)
- Week 1: 1 ml/day
- Week 2: 2 ml/day
- Week 3: 3 ml/day
- Week 4: 4 ml/day (maintenance/base dose)
After week 4, dosage can be increased further in 1ml/week increments to build zooplankton levels that fish, invertebrates, and corals can also feed on.
Maintenance Range: Dosing generally falls between 4 ml/day (maintenance) and 8 ml/day (medium-high demand) per 250L of tank water, depending on the aquarium's bioload.
