This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
Instructions:
- Carefully unbox the aquarium system and verify that all glass panels, cabinet boards, and plumbing parts are completely free of shipping damage.
- Position the black cabinet stand on a 100% level, solid floor surface away from direct sunlight and electrical outlets.
- Place the provided foam leveling pad on top of the cabinet stand, then center the empty 32-gallon glass tank on top of the pad.
- Slide the glass sump tank into the bottom compartment of the cabinet stand and align it directly underneath the tank's overflow drill holes.
- Thread the provided bulkhead fittings down through the pre-drilled glass holes, using the rubber gaskets on the wet side to ensure a watertight seal.
- Connect the main drain plumbing lines to the sump, check all pipe unions for alignment, and perform a 24-hour freshwater leak test before adding salt.
Pro Tips:
- Never Skip the Base Foam Leveling Mat. Rimless aquariums place their weight entirely across the bottom perimeter glass joints. If there is even a tiny piece of sand, debris, or a slight twist on the top of your cabinet stand, it can create a localized pressure point that could split the glass seam under full load. Always ensure the protective foam cushion mat is completely flat and centered beneath the aquarium before adding a drop of water or rockwork.
- Double-Check Your Bulkhead Gaskets During Assembly. When installing the drain and return bulkheads through the bottom of the overflow box, make sure the soft rubber o-ring sits on the inside of the glass (wet side) and the hard plastic sliding washer sits on the dry side under the nut. Tighten the bulkheads using only firm hand pressure. Tightening with heavy metal wrenches can easily crack the acrylic bulkhead or stress the glass around the pre-drilled hole.
- Leave Space Behind the Stand for Electronic Routing. When setting the classic black cabinet against your wall, leave at least 3 to 4 inches of clear space behind the frame. This rear gap allows for optimal ambient air circulation to reduce humidity buildup inside the stand and gives you plenty of room to neatly route your display light mounts, wavemaker lines, and controller power cords down to your power strips.
