This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
Mount the HYDROS Single Outlet Air Pump in a dry, accessible location near your HYDROS device.
Connect standard 3/16-inch flexible airline tubing to the pump's output port.
Install an inline check valve between the pump and the air stone/accessory to prevent back-siphoning.
Plug the GX12 connector into any available 12V DC Drive Port on your HYDROS Control device and hand-tighten the locking nut.
Open the HYDROS App, navigate to the Outputs tab, and add a new "Drive Port" output.
Configure your desired operating mode (e.g., Scheduled, Generic, or Battery/Power Outage Failsafe) and test the output.
Pro Tips
Set up an automated power outage trigger. Configure the air pump output in the HYDROS App to turn ON automatically if your system loses main AC power (when using a HYDROS unit running on battery backup). This delivers critical emergency oxygen to your display tank during blackout conditions.
Always install an inline check valve. Because the pump operates on 12V DC and may sit lower than the aquarium water line, a check valve is essential to prevent water from siphoning back through the airline and damaging the internal pump diaphragm.
Use for nighttime pH and oxygen stability. Photosynthesis stops when aquarium lights turn off, causing dissolved oxygen to drop and CO2 to rise. Setting a HYDROS schedule to run the air pump for a few hours overnight helps keep oxygen levels elevated and stabilizes your tank's pH.
