Spanning 36 inches, the RB-LLPRO36-50 provides balanced, edge-to-edge illumination that eliminates dark outer corners and softens harsh shadows cast by center braces or centralized pendant lights. The fixture features a precision 50/50 ratio of high-output daylight white and 450nm Actinic Blue surface-mount micro-diodes. This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
Installation & Operating Guidelines:
Carefully unbox the light fixture and verify that the aluminum housing, DC lead cord, and power adapter are free of damage.
Choose your mounting configuration:
Tank Rim Mounting: Slide the adjustable stainless steel legs into the side extrusion channels at both ends of the fixture and adjust to fit securely over your tank's perimeter rim.
Canopy Mounting: Fasten the light bar to the underside of your canopy framework using mounting clips or L-brackets, ensuring the LED surface remains at least 2 to 4 inches above the water level.
Position the fixture so the micro-diodes project directly downward across the entire aquarium footprint.
Connect the barrel plug from the fixture's lead cord into the female receptacle of the included DC power supply (or install an optional inline dimmer/controller module inline).
Route the power cord with a drip loop below the electrical receptacle to stop water droplets from tracking into the wall socket.
Connect the power supply to an AC wall outlet, digital timer, or smart energy bar.
Set your preferred photoperiod (typically 8 to 10 hours for FOWLR and mixed reef displays).

- Balance Daylight Realism with Actinic Fluorescence. The 50/50 spectrum is engineered to bridge the gap between stark, clinical daylight and overly monochromatic blue lighting. If you find your primary LED clusters make fish appear unnatural or create a deep "blacklight" effect during the afternoon, running the RB-LLPRO36-50 during your midday peak brings back natural silver, yellow, and red pigmentation in dwarf angels, tangs, and wrasses while maintaining coral health.
- Combine with a Dedicated Blue Strip for Day-to-Night Control. For a complete 24-hour photoperiod on 3-foot tanks, pair the RB-LLPRO36-50 with an RB-LLPRO36-B (Blue) or RB-LLPRO36-UA (Ultra Actinic) strip light. Keep the all-blue bar on for an early-morning dawn phase, activate the 50/50 bar for midday full-spectrum daylight, and turn off the 50/50 bar in the evening to return to an actinic fluorescent twilight before moonlighting.
