Over years of continuous submerged service, plastic clips can degrade or rubber suction feet can lose grip, allowing the pump to migrate or rattle against sump baffles.
This factory replacement base plate snaps seamlessly onto the bottom tracks of the EVO 1000 and EVO 2000 motor housing. Equipped with resilient rubber suction feet, it firmly anchors the return pump to the bottom of glass or acrylic sumps while absorbing micro-vibrations, restoring silent and stable water circulation.

Installation & Replacement Guidelines:
Turn off power to your IceCap EVO pump controller and disconnect the pump from your return plumbing union.
Lift the EVO pump out of the sump and slide off any remaining fragments of the old damaged base plate.
Align the mounting tracks on the new IP-EVO1000-BS base plate with the bottom grooves of the pump motor block.
Push the base plate until it snaps firmly into place under the motor housing.
Wipe the sump floor clean of detritus, press the pump down firmly to engage the suction feet, and re-attach your return plumbing lines.
Pro Tips:
- Clean Sump Floor Before Placement. Always wipe away micro-algae or detritus build-up on the sump bottom prior to pressing down the suction feet. A clean surface creates a tight suction vacuum, preventing return pump shift during high flow cycles.
- Soak Suction Cups to Restore Flexibility. If rubber suction feet become stiff over time during maintenance cleaning, soak the base plate in warm fresh water for 5 minutes to restore natural elasticity and maximum grip strength.
