Felt Filter Sock 4 x 14in Plastic P Ring

100-Micron Poly Filter Sock with Plastic P Ring

Filter socks are an essential part of an aquarium's filtration process. They work as the first filtration stage by capturing food debris, organic waste, dust, and other small particles from the aquarium water. This improves the water quality and decreases the frequency of pump maintenance and sump cleaning. The filter socks also help reduce the build-up of ammonia and nitrate-producing organic waste by removing it from the system. Regular use and rotation of filter socks are recommended to keep the aquarium water clean and healthy for its inhabitants.
