- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of the owner's or his agent's first knowledge of the defect.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given the first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature, however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.

- Unplug your automatic fleece roller filter's electronic smart controller from the wall socket to completely kill power to the loop.
- Carefully lift the entire Klir Di-7 unit straight up out of your sump's 7-inch filter sock tray and lay it flat on a clean towel.
- Remove your motor assembly block, slide out the clean and waste spindles, and unthread any fleece material currently running through the tracking lanes.
- Locate the retention tracking channels or alignment screws linking the damaged lower basket to the upper control plates. Carefully slide the broken basket off the upper tracking tabs.
- Take your fresh CV-KLIR-DI7-BTM Bottom Assembly and line up its clear side channels with the upper frame tracks. Slide it smoothly into position until it locks flush against the upper plate.
- Re-thread your fleece media under the pre-installed lower tracking rods, secure it to your waste spool, slide your motor block down, and drop the assembly back into your sump tray hole.
Pro Tips:
- Do Not Overtighten Adjacent Sump Baffles Against the Acrylic Walls. When sliding this new bottom assembly back down into a tight, custom acrylic sump sock tray, never force or wedge the clear plastic basket into position if the opening is slightly too narrow. Pushing a rigid cast-acrylic frame under heavy twisting stress can cause immediate micro-cracking ("crazing") around the corner joints. If your sump tray expanded or warped slightly over time, gently sand down the edges of the sump sock hole rather than forcing the replacement assembly to bend.
- Soak the Core in Warm White Vinegar to Clear Calcified Tube Scale. Because this bottom basket sits completely submerged inside the highly turbulent water zone of your sump, calcium scale and hard salt creep will naturally bake onto the clear acrylic walls over time. Every six months, lift the assembly out and soak it in a tub of warm, household white vinegar for 20 minutes. This breaks down mineral crusts that can cause friction along your tracking lanes, keeping your fleece moving smoothly without straining your motor gear.
- Never Clean the Clear Acrylic Face Panels with Alcohol-Based Sprays. When wiping down your fresh clear CV-KLIR-DI7-BTM frame, never use rubbing alcohol, acetone, window sprays, or harsh household chemical solvents. Alcohol reacts aggressively with cell-cast acrylic plastics, breaking structural chemical bonds and causing the plastic to develop thousands of tiny webbed fractures instantly. This completely ruins the structural integrity of the frame core and voids your factory warranty. Use only fresh water and a soft microfiber towel.
