Aquarium Driftwood for Freshwater Tanks and Aquascapes
Dymax Driftwood is authentic natural wood, treated and shaped to fit fish tanks. Hardscape is the wood and stone that sets the layout of a tank. Use these pieces to build hiding spots, natural barriers, and texture.
The wood also gives moss and epiphytes, which are plants that grow on a surface instead of in soil, a solid base to attach to.
Key Features:
- Six sizes: S (12-16 in), M (16-20 in), L (20-24 in), XL (24-32 in), 2XL (32-36 in), 3XL (36-50 in)
- Comes in different shapes, so pieces vary
- Creates hiding spots and natural barriers
- Solid base for moss and epiphytes
Ideal For:
- Freshwater planted tanks where moss or epiphytes need a surface to attach to
- Aquascapers who want hiding spots, barriers, and texture in a natural layout
- Reptile keepers who need natural wood for a terrarium
Pro Tips:
- Boil the wood before you add it to your tank. Boiling helps limit tannins, the natural compounds in wood that can tint water brown. Adding activated carbon can help clear any temporary discoloration.
