The IceCap K1-100 Pump Output Sleeve (SKU: IP-K1100-OS) is the official OEM replacement flexible silicone coupler engineered specifically for the IceCap K1-100 Protein Skimmer.
Positioned directly between the top discharge nozzle of the EVAIR-400 skimmer pump and the lower intake port of the bubble diffuser chamber, this flexible sleeve forms an airtight, watertight bridge. Over time, exposure to saltwater, ozone, or frequent maintenance disassemblies can cause original sleeves to stretch, tear, or harden. Installing a fresh IP-K1100-OS output sleeve ensures that 100% of the air-water mixture is directed into the reaction chamber without bypass or chatter noise.

Installation & Replacement Guidelines:
Turn off power to the skimmer pump and remove the K1-100 protein skimmer from your sump.
Unbolt the skimmer base plate and detach the EVAIR-400 skimmer pump from the lower acrylic housing.
Slide the worn or damaged output sleeve off the pump discharge nozzle.
Clean any organic buildup or debris from the pump outlet and skimmer intake nipple.
Push the new IP-K1100-OS output sleeve onto the pump outlet nozzle until seated firmly, reattach to the skimmer body, and reassemble the base plate.
Pro Tips:
- Moisten Sleeve Ends During Assembly. When installing the new sleeve onto the rigid acrylic ports, dip the ends of the silicone sleeve in fresh reverse osmosis (RO) water. The moisture acts as a temporary lubricant, allowing the sleeve to slide smoothly into place without twisting or binding.
- Inspect During Quarterly Skimmer Cleanings. Check the output sleeve for flexibility every time you pull the EVAIR-400 pump for routine impeller cleaning. Replacing hardened or loose sleeves early prevents microbubble loss and keeps your skimmer running quietly.
