Warranty is activated on the date of purchase.
This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
- Turn off your protein skimmer pump and remove the collection cup.
- Ensure the O-ring on the skimmer neck or extension is clean and properly seated.
- Align the NK-110 extension with the skimmer neck and press firmly to create a seal.
- Replace the collection cup on top of the extension.
- Restart your skimmer and monitor the water level; you may need to adjust your gate valve to account for the new height.
Pro Tips:
Check your total height clearance.
Before adding the extension, ensure you have at least 3 inches of additional vertical space inside your cabinet to allow for the increased height and the removal of the collection cup.
Lubricate your O-rings. Applying a small amount of silicone-based, aquarium-safe lubricant to the O-rings will ensure a better seal and make it much easier to remove the extension or collection cup during routine cleaning.
Stack with caution. While these are stackable, adding too many can increase the backpressure on your pump. Start with one extension and observe the foam consistency before adding a second.
