1. Warranty Coverage
Abyzz Pumps (motor block and driver ONLY) are backed by a 10-year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance. This warranty provides repair or replacement of the defective motor block and driver ONLY at Abyzz's discretion.
Our warranty policy ensures the quality and durability of our products; however, it does not extend to wearable parts that naturally degrade over time due to regular use. Wearable parts include, but are not limited to, filters, seals, gaskets, volutes, fuses, adapters, bearings, impeller wheels, mounting brackets, and other components subject to routine wear and tear. These items are considered maintenance components and require periodic replacement to ensure optimal performance. For further details on which parts are classified as wearable, please refer to our product manual or contact our customer support team.
2. Warranty Registration
To activate your 10-year limited warranty, you MUST register your pump directly with Abyzz. Warranty registration is mandatory; pumps not registered within 30 days of purchase are not eligible for warranty coverage.

3. Warranty Terms
- Duration: The warranty is valid for 10 years from the date of purchase, provided the pump is registered as required.
- Coverage: The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow the provided installation and maintenance instructions.
- Non-Coverage: This warranty does not cover consumable parts or items damaged due to improper installation, environmental factors, or accidents.
4. Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, please contact Abyzz Pumps Customer Service. You will need to provide proof of registration and proof of purchase. If the claim is valid, Abyzz will repair or replace the defective part or pump at no charge.
5. Non-Transferable Warranty
Please note that this warranty is non-transferable. It is only valid for the original purchaser of the pump and cannot be transferred to subsequent owners.
6. Limitations of Liability
Abyzz Pumps' liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the pump.

- Ensure your Abyzz pump port surfaces and the 50mm metric rigid pipes are clean, dry, and entirely free of debris or dust.
- Verify structural alignment between the pump housing and the downstream hard-plumbing loop to prevent angular stress on the joint.
- Apply a thin, consistent layer of premium PVC primer to the receiving faces of the adapter bushing and the matching plumbing line.
- While the primer is still active, apply a smooth layer of high-strength PVC solvent cement over the primed zones.
- Insert the pipe firmly into the VA-IOA50 adapter socket until it hits the internal seat, turning it roughly 1/4 turn to secure uniform cement layout.
- Hold the bonded assembly under firm manual pressure for 15 to 20 seconds to guarantee the fitting does not back out while the cement sets.
- Allow the entire joint structure to cure completely undisturbed for 24 hours prior to introducing water or initializing pump pressure testing.
Pro Tips:
- Never Apply Structural Twist Stress to the Pump Volute.
CRITICAL PUMP SAFETY WARNING: When solvent welding plumbing adapters to a high-end pump like an Abyzz, always complete your gluing steps with the volute assembly detached or safely stabilized. Applying immense torque or pushing hard against the pump body while setting a rigid hard-plumbing line can misalign the internal impeller shaft or crack the precision housing.
- Use True Union Connections for Easy Maintenance. While this adapter creates a permanent, secure connection, you should always place a true union fitting shortly downstream from the pump's discharge and intake. This ensures that when it comes time for annual pump maintenance or impeller descaling, you can simply unscrew the union collars and remove the pump body without cutting your hard-welded lines.
- Verify Metric vs. Imperial Configurations. This fitting is engineered strictly to metric 50mm manufacturing tolerances. Do not attempt to solvent weld standard domestic US imperial 1-1/2" or 2" Schedule 40/80 pipes directly into this socket without a proper step adapter, as the minute size deviations will compromise the joint integrity and create high-pressure failure points.
