    • High-Flow Manifold Design: Permits seamless integration of a 50mm auxiliary branch off a primary 75mm main water line.
    • Triple Slip Sockets: Features smooth female slip connections on all three ports, designed for permanent, leak-free solvent-welded joints.
    • Aquarium-Grade Dark Gray Finish: Neutral industrial aesthetic matches professional sumps, reef reactors, and custom under-cabinet manifolds.
    • 100% Reef Safe Construction: Molded from premium, virgin uPVC entirely free from heavy metal stabilizers and plasticizers.
    • Heavy-Wall Structure: Injection-molded with high-thickness unplasticized PVC to prevent stress cracking from water hammer and structural vibration.

CoralVue 75/50mm Metric Reducing Tee (SKU: PVC-RDTEE-7550)

The CoralVue 75/50mm Metric Reducing Tee (SKU: PVC-RDTEE-7550) is a premium, professional-grade fluid management component engineered for building advanced aquarium return manifolds and commercial-scale drainage systems. Setting up high-performance aquatic systems often requires feeding multiple large auxiliary components or distributing flow from a massive master return line down to standard secondary runs. Attempting to use multiple individual reducers and standard tees consumes valuable space and creates unnecessary friction. This integrated, single-piece reducing tee solves that issue by splitting a compact 50mm branch takeoff directly from your main 75mm plumbing loop.

Molded to precise aquaculture tolerances, this dark gray uPVC fitting features smooth female slip sockets on all three ports. By solvent welding this fitting inline, you maintain a robust 75mm flow path for your main drainage or return loop while creating a dedicated port for auxiliary lines. The interior branch entry features a smooth, swept transition to minimize dynamic friction, ensuring your main pump's kinetic energy is preserved while providing reliable pressure to the auxiliary branch.

    Key Features

    • Built-in Landing Shoulders: Molded internal pipe stops inside all three ports prevent over-insertion, ensuring consistent solvent-weld depth.

    • Compact Footprint: Eliminates the bulk of a standard tee combined with separate reduction bushings, saving valuable space inside tight aquarium stands.

    • Exceptional Chemical Resistance: Formulated from uPVC to withstand aggressive marine salts, ozone, and typical chemical aquarium additives.

    • (Note: This retail SKU contains (1) individual standalone CoralVue 75/50mm Reducing Tee. Solvent primers, cements, and rigid piping are sold under separate product categories).

While most of our equipment carries a one-year manufacturer's warranty, consumable products like fish and coral foods are not covered under traditional warranty terms due to their perishable nature and varied storage conditions. However, we fully stand behind the quality of every product we sell. If you experience any issues with your food purchase shortly after receiving it, such as concerns about freshness, packaging integrity, or product quality, please contact us at [email protected]. We're committed to making it right and will work with you to resolve any problems quickly and fairly.

    1. Ensure all metric rigid pipes (two 75mm and one 50mm) are cut squarely at a true 90-degree angle and completely deburred.
    2. Thoroughly clean the interior sockets of the reducing tee and the exterior tips of the mating pipes using a clean, dry cloth.
    3. Apply a thin, even layer of PVC primer to the inside of the tee sockets and the outside of the pipe ends.
    4. While wet, apply PVC solvent cement over the primed areas.
    5. Insert the pipes firmly into their respective sockets, rotating each roughly 1/4 turn to distribute the cement evenly.
    6. Hold each joint under firm pressure for 15 to 20 seconds to prevent the pipe from backing out while the cement sets.
    7. Allow the plumbing assembly to cure undisturbed for a full 24 hours before filling with saltwater or testing under dynamic system pressure.

    Pro Tips:

    • Do Not Attempt to Glue Imperial Pipe Directly Into This Metric Fitting.
CRITICAL AQUARIUM PLUMBING DESIGN TIP: This reducing tee is engineered to exact metric dimensions. The slip ports accept only standard 75mm and 50mm metric rigid pipes. Do not attempt to force standard domestic 2-1/2" or 2" Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 pipe into the sockets. The dimensional variances will cause structural joint failure or immediate leaks under pressure.
    • Use Ball Valves on Your Auxiliary Branch Line. When tapping a 50mm line off your main 75mm return line using this reducing tee, always install a high-quality metric ball valve (or gate valve) on the 50mm branch run. This allows you to fine-tune the exact water volume feeding your secondary filtration arrays or chiller loops without altering the main flow back to the primary tanks.
    • Plan Manifold Spacing Wisely. When building a large multi-port manifold using several reducing tees in a row, allow at least 3 inches of straight 75mm pipe between each tee. This gives you enough clearance to install pipe hangers or secure the massive manifold to your walls, keeping the heavy plumbing run stable, concentric, and secure.
