The IceCap AIO Skimmer Mag-Mount Bracket (SKU: IC-AIOMM) is an authentic high-utility wet-end upgrade distributed by CoralVue to optimize space, minimize noise, and enhance the placement flexibility of your desktop filtration footprint. Standard all-in-one nano skimmers rely on rigid plastic rim hooks that force the skimmer to hang strictly from the outer top perimeter walls of your aquarium. This legacy layout can interfere with tight-fitting mesh jump lids, block localized overflow pathways, and ruin the clean sightlines of your rimless aquarium design. The IC-AIOMM bypasses these limitations completely, switching your skimmer's mounting base over to a powerful, low-profile dual-magnetic clamping matrix.
By shifting your skimmer to this specialized rare-earth bracket, you gain the ability to mount your AIO-120 or AIO-240 anywhere within your rear filtration chambers, including directly onto internal acrylic baffle dividers. The wet-side assembly seamlessly fastens to the skimmer's rear structural guide track, while the dry-side external magnet pins the unit firmly through glass or acrylic partitions up to 1/2-inch thick. Both magnetic segments are completely sealed inside an inert, heavy-wall polymer shell to prevent saltwater contact and long-term corrosion. This rubberized surface also acts as a built-in shock absorber, dampening motor vibrations before they can resonate against your glass walls.

This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
- Unplug your AIO skimmer pump from the wall outlet and lift the entire skimmer housing out of your rear filter compartment.
- Unthread the original nylon set screws and slide the standard plastic over-rim hanging hook assembly completely out of the skimmer's rear vertical tracking channel.
- Align the mounting tabs of the fresh IC-AIOMM wet-side magnetic bracket with the skimmer’s rear track and slide it smoothly into place until it centers along the body frame.
- Wipe the inner and outer glass surfaces of your target rear filtration chamber completely clean to remove any soft algae films, sand grains, or loose salt creep.
- Lower the skimmer body back into your rear filtration bay, holding it at your preferred operating depth against the chamber wall.
- Gently slide the dry-side external holding magnet onto the outside glass surface from the top down until it aligns with the internal bracket. Caution: Do not snap the magnets together directly, as the intense force can easily shatter your tank glass or pinch fingers.
Pro Tips:
- Never Snap the Magnet Blocks Together Directly on the Glass. The neodymium rare-earth magnetic discs housed inside this bracket generate an exceptionally intense directional pull. When mounting the dry-side external handle opposite the submersed skimmer bracket, never bring the outer magnet straight down at a 90-degree angle toward the glass face. Doing so will cause the two blocks to aggressively slam into each other, which can instantly spider-crack thin nano tank panels or pinch your skin. Always place the outer pad a few inches away on a thicker rim section and gently slide it into position horizontally.
- Keep the Outer Dry Magnet Protected from Salt Spray During Water Changes. While the wet-side internal bracket is completely hermetically sealed against total marine submersion, the dry-side external magnet is built to live on the clean, dry exterior of your aquarium glass. When executing your weekly siphon cleanings or mixing salt lines nearby, avoid letting raw saltwater splash or pool behind the dry magnet's rubber pad. If saltwater sits trapped behind the outer pad, the salt will steadily crust over, scratching your glass exterior and degrading the outer cosmetic shell.
- Slide the Outer Magnet to Adjust Skimming Wetness Without Opening the Hood. One of the best design features of switching over to this magnetic bracket is that you can adjust your skimmer's performance without pulling off your top lid panels or sticking your hands into the water. If your collection cup is filling up too fast with clear, watery waste, simply slide the external dry magnet upward by a quarter-inch. This pulls the inner skimmer body higher out of the water column, dropping the internal bubble line and allowing you to easily tune for a thicker, darker skimmate.
