Fauna Marin Color Elements is a blend of trace elements designed to improve coral growth and color. This unique recipe has been experimentally tested and perfectly adapts to modern artificial sea salt mixes. This state-of-the-art element mix aligns the micronutrient consumption of tropical corals with the light conditions generated by LED lighting systems. It helps maintain stable micronutrient conditions in coral reef aquariums, leading to significant increases in coral growth rates and coloration. The special formulation of the elements also prevents the accumulation of excess toxic trace metals in the aquarium and effectively prevents the growth of unwanted algae.

- Dose weekly, not daily, when starting out - The recommended dose is 2-3 ml per 100 liters per week. Start at the low end and observe your corals for two to four weeks before increasing. Color shifts from trace element supplementation are gradual. Rapid dosing increases will not speed up results and can cause water chemistry imbalances.
- Run an ICP test before adding new trace element products - If your tank already has elevated nickel or cobalt from other supplements or salt mixes, adding Color Elements Green Blue Complex on top may push those values too high. An ICP analysis gives you a baseline so you know exactly where you're starting.
- Pair with the full Color Elements system for precise color control - Color Elements Green Blue Complex works on the green and turquoise axis. Fauna Marin's Red Orange Complex and Purple Blue Complex cover the remaining spectrum. Using all three lets you adjust each color range independently rather than relying on a single all-in-one trace supplement that balances the mix for you.
- Store out of direct light and away from contamination sources - This product has a shelf life of approximately 3 years. Keep the cap clean and dry between uses. Introducing bacteria or organics from a dirty pipette can degrade the formula faster than the shelf date would suggest.
