Because the K3 250HOB operates with a high-throughput pump to service larger aquariums, the return water velocity carries a significant volume of entrained air bubbles. In sumpless systems, unmanaged microbubbles enter the main tank display, reducing water clarity and irritating sensitive corals and invertebrates. The IP-K3250H-BS mounts directly to the skimmer's exit spout, routing outflow water through an oversized baffled diffusion chamber that pops and vents stray air bubbles while returning clear, smooth water to the tank.

Installation & Replacement Guidelines:
Turn off power to the K3 250HOB skimmer pump before servicing the return plumbing.
Carefully detach the old or damaged bubble stopper box from the skimmer outflow pipe.
Rinse the new IP-K3250H-BS bubble stopper in fresh RO water to remove any manufacturing dust.
Slide the inlet coupling of the bubble stopper onto the outflow discharge pipe until seated securely.
Restore power to the skimmer pump and adjust the return pipe height to achieve smooth, splash-free flow into your aquarium.
Pro Tips:
- Position Just Below the Aquarium Water Surface. For optimal noise reduction and microbubble dissipation on high-flow setups, adjust the return pipe so the bubble stopper discharge sits right at or slightly beneath the water line. This prevents splashing noises and stops bubbles from being forced deeper into the water column.
- Rinse Buildup During Regular Water Changes. Due to high water throughput, algae and detritus can accumulate on the interior baffle plates over time. During your regular water change schedule, detach and rinse the chamber under warm tap water to maintain unrestricted return flow.
