Kamoer X2SR WiFi Automatic Water Change & ATO System (SKU: CV-KAM-X2SR)
The Kamoer X2SR Automatic Water Change System (SKU: CV-KAM-X2SR) is an authentic, commercial-grade reef tank maintenance device distributed by CoralVue to automate tedious parameter management and water updates. Performing large, sudden manual water changes can introduce thermal shocks and localized parameter drops that stress sensitive stony corals and specialized invertebrates. The X2SR solves this challenge by breaking down water maintenance into a series of smaller, metered micro-dosing actions spread smoothly across the day. Program up to 24 distinct water swap milestones per 24-hour cycle to maintain rock-solid parameter stability.
The primary mechanical benefit of the CV-KAM-X2SR centers on its professional KHL-B24 High-Precision Stepper Pump Heads. Driven by industrial-grade motors, the system allows you to select between two distinct operation paths. In Synchronized Mode, both the drain and refill pumps fire together, matching flow volumes exactly to preserve constant water levels inside your sump. In In-and-Out Mode, the system performs a traditional sequence: draining out a set volume before opening the refill line to restore the baseline level. Outfitted with safety overflow sensors on heavy-duty magnetic mounts and an integrated low-voltage auto top-off (ATO) system, this system acts as an ironclad insurance policy against water management disasters.
Key Features
Completely Eliminates Bucket Sloshing: Shifting aquarium water via automated small doses preserves livestock health and prevents massive structural chemistry swings.
Built-In Real-Time Clock Core: Retains all your customized calendar schedules on an internal battery backup, meaning the system safely resumes operation if a power outage occurs.
Advanced Error Alert Controls: If a sensor flags an empty salt reservoir, a full wastewater bucket, or a high water line, the system triggers an immediate shutdown.

WARRANTY
CoralVue, Inc. hereby guarantees this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of:
- One (1) year warranty on the device body/housing
- One (1) year warranty on dosing pump motor (not dosing head(s))
- Tubing, head rollers, and head bushings are considered wearable parts because they experience regular friction, pressure, and use over time, leading to natural degradation. Since these components are expected to wear out during normal operation, they are not covered under the limited warranty.
Warranty is activated on the date of purchase.
This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse, or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of the owner's or his agent's first knowledge of the defect.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given the first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature, however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
- Unbox your Kamoer X2SR system. Mount the main pump bracket securely inside a dry section of your cabinet. Warning: Position the main unit well above your sump's high water level to keep the inner circuitry protected from ambient humidity or salt creep.
- Connect your intake and discharge water lines carefully. Route the Drain Input into your aquarium sump water line and its corresponding Drain Output out to your wastewater collection bucket. Route the Refill Input into your clean saltwater supply and its Refill Output down to your sump.
- Position your float switches using the included magnetic mounts. Place the primary leveling sensor at your sump's ideal water line, mount the overflow sensor slightly higher up as an emergency backup, and place your reservoir sensors inside your fresh and waste water buckets.
- Plug the utility ATO pump into the designated port on the X2SR base, and drop the pump completely flat inside your freshwater reservoir tank.
- Download the Kamoer Remote App to your phone. Turn on your mobile device’s Bluetooth setting to discover the hardware locally, and enter your 2.4GHz home WiFi password to log the system onto the global cloud server.
Pro Tips:
- The Critical Volume Calibration: Before running your first automated water change, use the included 50mL graduated cylinder to run a 60-second test cycle for both pump heads. Enter the exact fluid volumes pumped into the app to calibrate the stepper motors, ensuring the system pulls out the exact same amount of water it puts back in.
- Suspended Water Output Lines Prevent Dangerous Back-Siphoning. When plumbing your water lines, never submerge the ends of your clean saltwater refill line or your wastewater drain line beneath the water surface. If your waste line dips below the water line inside a dirty collection bucket, a back-siphon can occur when the pump shuts down, pulling dirty water back into your clean system. Always keep your discharge tube ends suspended safely in the open air above the collection tanks.
- Wipe Down Your Float Sensor Columns Every Month to Prevent Clogs. Because the X2SR relies on physical float switches to verify water heights and safe operation, keeping them clean is key to a reliable setup. Over a few weeks, salt creep, floating dust, or a layer of bacterial slime can build up on the vertical plastic pins, causing the float rings to jam. Make it a habit during your routine monthly checks to give each sensor a quick wipe with a clean towel to keep them sliding smoothly.
- Replace the Internal Head Tubing Every 1,000 Hours for Leak Insurance. The high-precision KHL-B24 pump heads utilize heavy-duty PharMed BPT internal lines designed to handle continuous compression, but all peristaltic lines eventually fatigue after months of daily use. To keep your system running safely, pay close attention to the app's built-in usage counter. Plan to replace the internal tubing lines every 1,000 hours of runtime to protect your cabinet from unexpected cracks or leaks.
