Reef Octopus Classic 110-INT/EXT Replacement Collection Cup
The Reef Octopus Classic 110-INT/EXT Collection Cup is the dedicated reservoir for capturing and containing organic waste for the brand's popular 5-inch body protein skimmers. This genuine replacement cup is manufactured to the exact specifications of the Classic 110-INT (NWB-110) and the Classic 110-EXT (DNWB-110), ensuring a perfect friction-fit seal that maintains the internal air pressure required for stable foam production.
Constructed from heavy-duty cast acrylic, this cup offers superior durability and resistance to the yellowing or brittleness that can occur with long-term saltwater exposure. The cup includes a pre-installed drain port, allowing hobbyists to connect a 15/32" ID drain line directly to an external waste collector for extended maintenance intervals. Please note that this is the replacement cup body only; the collection cup lid (SKU: ROP-CCLID-110R) and drain plug are sold separately and must be transferred from your existing unit or purchased as additional items.

Warranty is activated on the date of purchase.
This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse, or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of the owner's or his agent's first knowledge of the defect.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given the first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature, however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.

Turn off the protein skimmer pump.
Carefully lift the old collection cup off the skimmer body vertically.
Transfer your existing lid (ROP-CCLID-110R) and drain plug to the new replacement cup.
Wipe the neck of the skimmer body with a damp cloth to remove any salt creep or debris for a better seal.
Press the new Classic 110 cup firmly onto the skimmer body until it is fully seated.
Ensure the drain plug is secure (if not using an external collector) and restart the pump.
Pro Tips:
Check your O-ring.
The 110-INT and 110-EXT rely on a tight friction fit at the neck. If the new cup feels loose or you notice salt creep forming around the base, inspect the O-ring on the skimmer body neck. A tiny amount of silicone lubricant will ensure a perfect, airtight seal.
Don't toss the lid. Since the replacement cup body is sold alone, your original lid is still needed. The Red 110 Lid is a standard part, but keeping your original can save you from an additional $20+ purchase.
Clear the drain port. If you use the drain port, check it monthly for "gunk" buildup. If organics dry inside the port, it can clog, potentially leading to a skimmer overflow if you are relying on an external waste collector.
