Reef Octopus Classic 200/202 Replacement Collection Cup
The Reef Octopus Classic 200/202 Replacement Collection Cup is the high-capacity reservoir specifically designed for the brand's larger 8-inch body protein skimmers. Compatible with both the Classic 200INT (NWB-200) and the space-saving Classic 202-S (CLSC-202S), this cup is essential for containing the heavy organic waste produced by reef tanks up to 265 gallons.
Constructed from premium cast acrylic, the cup features excellent resistance to saltwater corrosion and cleaning-induced stress cracks. It utilizes a precision-machined neck that relies on a specific O-ring seal to maintain the internal air pressure required for a stable foam head. The cup also includes a pre-drilled drain port, allowing you to easily route skimmate to an external collector. Please note: This is the collection cup body only. The collection cup lid and drain plug are sold separately and must be transferred from your original unit or purchased as additional items.

Pro Tips:
Don't forget the plug!
The drain port on the 200/202 cup is located at the very bottom of the reservoir. If you do not have a drain plug or a connected drain line, the cup will immediately leak skimmate back into your sump. Always verify the plug is secure before restarting the pump.
Lubricate for ease of use. The 8-inch cup can be difficult to remove if the neck is dry. Apply a tiny amount of aquarium-safe silicone lubricant to the neck O-ring every few months to make emptying the cup an effortless one-handed task.
Check your clearance. The Classic 200INT and 202-S require approximately 1/2 inch of vertical clearance to lift the cup off the neck. Ensure your cabinet allows for this movement before seating the cup fully.
