    • Automated Water Optimization: Fully manages water production schedules, pressure switches, and safety systems on a single microprocessor core.
    • Integrated 3-Point TDS Analyzer: Houses software tracking channels to deliver accurate, real-time digital Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) readouts before filtration, post-membrane, and post-DI.
    • Smart Membrane Flush Matrix: Maximizes membrane lifespan by executing automated high-pressure flushes at startup, post-production, or every 2 hours during continuous run states.
    • Onboard Leak Defense System: Continuously tracks peripheral moisture probes, instantly tripping an audible high-pitch alarm and closing raw intake lines if a leak occurs.
    • Custom Maintenance Reminders: Features an automated system runtime clock that calculates and visually flashes notifications when sediment, carbon, or DI cartridges need replacement.
    • Eco-Friendly Power Sleep Mode: Incorporates an automated screen power-saving feature that dims the backlit LCD display during long, idle standalone states.

IceCap Smart RO/DI System Replacement Controller ONLY (SKU: IC-RODI-CTRL)

The IceCap Smart RO/DI System Replacement Controller Only (SKU: IC-RODI-CTRL) is an authentic, exhibition-grade water management processing module distributed by CoralVue to provide full system automation for aquarium reverse osmosis setups. Standard RO/DI systems are completely passive pieces of plumbing, requiring hobbyists to manually open flush valves, constantly track filter lifespans with standalone test pens, and visually check holding reservoirs to avoid messy overfills. The IceCap Smart Controller completely transforms standard filtration hardware into an intelligent, actively managed purification plant. By dynamically adjusting water flow paths and monitoring pressure limits, it protects your equipment and ensures high-purity water production.

This particular SKU is optimized specifically as a Standalone Core Replacement Unit. If an out-of-warranty system experiences an accidental splash or power spike, there is no need to discard your expensive booster pumps, solenoids, or frame assemblies. Swapping out the computing head with the IC-RODI-CTRL completely restores your system back to peak operating efficiency. The controller features a multi-point digital tracking grid that reports real-time Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) at three distinct production zones, tracks line pressure via automated high/low switches, and runs safety shutoffs. From managing timed production cycles to triggering high-velocity flushes that remove scale from your membrane, this processing unit serves as the brain of your pure water station.

    Key Features

    • Prevents Aquarium Stand Floods: Works alongside external leak sensor pins to immediately kill incoming water pressure the instant a moisture line crosses a contact threshold.

    • Maximizes Reverse Osmosis Rejection: Automates high-velocity cleaning cycles across the membrane face, preventing hard mineral deposits from scaling up system surfaces.

    • Hands-Free Timed Production: Built-in digital run timer allows users to program explicit runtime blocks, making it easy to fill small, calculated water reservoirs safely.

    • (Note: This retail package includes (1) individual IceCap Smart RO/DI System Controller module only. External power supply transformers, system wire harnesses, pressure sensors, and solenoid valves are sold under separate replacement categories).

    1. Disconnect the main 24V power adapter transformer from your wall socket to completely shut off electricity to your filtration station before handling your equipment.
    2. Unplug the multi-pin electronic connector block from the rear wiring harness port on your old controller head. Remove the retention screws holding the chassis onto the yellow metal system frame.
    3. Align your new IceCap IC-RODI-CTRL replacement module over the mounting tabs on your frame rack, and secure it in place using your original mounting screws.
    4. Insert your existing system wire harness plug directly into the port layout on the back of the new controller. Warning: Ensure the alignment keys match perfectly to avoid bending sensitive connection pins.
    5. Reinstall your 1/4-inch push-connect TDS sensor lines into their proper sampling positions along your filtration path: probe 1 tracks source tap water, probe 2 reads post-membrane water, and probe 3 confirms your final pure output.
    6. Connect the 24V power block cable back into the controller, and plug the transformer into your wall outlet. The LCD screen will instantly light up, run an automated system diagnostic pass, and resume full water production control.

    Pro Tips:

    • Keep an Uninterrupted Wire Harness Drip Loop Behind Your Controller. Because your automated RO/DI controller is mounted directly to the steel frame right above water housings, it is constantly exposed to humidity and fine splashing during routine cartridge changes. When routing your wiring harness back to the rear input port on the IC-RODI-CTRL, always leave a loose, dipping slack line or "drip loop" below the level of the controller plug. This simple routing trick ensures any stray water tracking down the wire drops harmlessly off the bottom of the loop instead of creeping straight into the sensitive electronic input port.
    • Manually Execute a Strong Flush After Extended System Idle Blocks. While this smart controller does an exceptional job of automatically handling system flushes every 2 hours during active production, an extra manual flush is a great trick if your system has been sitting completely idle for a couple of weeks. Before you start collecting clean water in your top-off container, tap the button to trigger a manual "strong flush." This forces high-velocity water across your membrane face for a full cycle, loosening stagnant mineral buildup and sweeping away the initial wave of high-TDS creep down the drain line.
    • Always Zero-Out the Internal Timer Metrics Following New Filter Refills. When you swap out your sediment filters, carbon blocks, or loose DI resin bags, remember that the controller's internal lifecycle clock doesn't reset on its own. To maintain accurate tracking for your next replacement cycle, enter the system settings menu and manually reset the countdown tracker for each individual stage. This keeps your system updates aligned and guarantees the visual dashboard alert flashes at the perfect time, keeping your output water at a reliable 0 TDS.
