Use it with the Dymax CO2 Indicator Solution, which is sold separately. The solution changes color to show whether too much, the right amount, or too little CO2 is going into your tank. The indicator comes in small and large sizes and includes a suction cup.

Warranty is activated on the date of purchase.

This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:

  • To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
  • To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
  • To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
  • That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
  • That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
  • Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.

Instructions:

  1. Fill the drop checker with Dymax CO2 Indicator Solution (sold separately), following the solution's dosing instructions.
  2. Attach the drop checker to the inside of the aquarium glass using the included suction cup, at mid-to-low water level.
  3. Allow several hours for the solution to stabilize after setup or after a water change before checking the color.
  4. Compare the solution's color to the reference chart provided with the indicator solution to judge whether CO2 is excessive, optimal, or insufficient.
  5. Adjust CO2 injection based on the reading, then recheck after a few hours to confirm the change.

Safety:

  • Glass component; handle carefully to avoid breakage.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • For use in aquariums only.
