DKI Marine is a complete fish food designed specifically for omnivorous marine fish in coral reef aquariums. The soft, neutrally buoyant granules are made primarily from freeze-dried shrimp (Palaemonetes varians), giving them an irresistible natural smell that triggers strong feeding responses. Four species of marine microalgae (Nannochloropsis, Tetraselmis, Isochrysis, and Phaeodactylum) provide essential fatty acids, natural vitamins, and bioactive compounds that support immune health and overall well-being. Unlike many commercial fish foods, DKI Marine contains no terrestrial ingredients, artificial attractants, preservatives, or synthetic additives. The high-quality proteins contain all essential amino acids in the right proportions, while the fatty acid profile delivers EPA, ARA, and DHA for vibrant colors and healthy development. Because it's made from whole shrimp rather than fish skeletons, DKI Marine has a very low phosphate-to-protein ratio, helping maintain cleaner water quality. Pro Tips:

  • Start with the amount your fish can eat in 2 minutes, then adjust. Overfeeding is the most common mistake - less is more for water quality.
  • For shy or slow-eating fish, turn off pumps for 5 minutes during feeding so faster fish don't steal all the food.
  • Pre-moistening granules works great for gobies, blennies, and other bottom feeders who prefer sinking food.
  • If using an automatic feeder, the 0.8mm and 1.2mm sizes flow most reliably. Test your feeder before leaving for vacation.
  • Store in a cool, dry place and keep the container tightly sealed. The natural ingredients can absorb moisture, which reduces shelf life.

Feed 2-3 times daily in amounts fish can consume within 2 minutes

How to Feed:
  1. Add granules directly to the aquarium manually or using an automatic feeder
  2. For benthic (bottom-dwelling) fish, pre-moisten granules with aquarium water to make them sink faster
  3. Watch fish during feeding to ensure all consume food within 2 minutes

Storage:

Keep in cool, dark, dry place below 25°C (77°F). Refrigerate during hot weather.
