- Ensure the 20mm metric pipe end is cut perfectly square and thoroughly deburred.
- Perform a dry-fit to ensure the pipe seats fully into the bottom of the cap.
- Apply a thin layer of PVC primer to the pipe end and the internal socket of the cap.
- Apply a light coat of PVC solvent cement to both the pipe and the cap.
- Push the cap onto the pipe and give it a slight quarter-turn to distribute the glue evenly.
- Hold firmly for 20 seconds. Allow at least 1 hour of cure time before introducing water pressure.
