This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
Installation & Maintenance Guidelines:
Pause or switch off the VarioS skimmer pump using the controller feed mode.
If plumbed to an external waste container, detach the flexible drain hose from the drain barb.
Lift the old collection cup straight up off the skimmer body neck with both hands.
Clean any accumulated organic film or salt deposits from the skimmer body neck lip using a soft, damp microfiber cloth.
Rinse the new ROP-CC-REGAL200SSS cup and lid under lukewarm tap water to remove shipping dust.
If using an external waste collector, attach the flexible vinyl tubing to the drain barb; if containing waste within the cup, insert the silicone drain plug firmly.
Align the cup squarely over the skimmer cone neck and press downward until seated firmly.
Place the vented lid squarely on top and restart the pump on the controller.
Pro Tips:
- Clean Exclusively with Soft Microfiber and Mild Citric Acid. Cast acrylic will scratch easily if exposed to green kitchen scouring pads or stiff bristle brushes. To dissolve stubborn skimmate residues and calcium deposits without fogging or scratching the clear chamber, soak the cup in a lukewarm, mild citric acid bath for 15 minutes and wipe clean with a plush microfiber towel.
- Maintain a Clean Inner Riser Neck. A buildup of greasy organic compounds inside the inner riser tube acts as a surfactant barrier, causing rising foam bubbles to pop prematurely before spilling over into the cup reservoir. Running a silicone neck wiper or manually wiping the inner riser tube every 2 to 3 days maintains optimal foam fractionation and dry skimmate production.
