100-Micron Filter Sock, 7 x 32 in, with Plastic F-Ring
Filter socks are essential to an aquarium’s filtration process. This sock serves as the first filtration stage, capturing food debris, organic waste, dust, and other small particles. This improves water quality and means you maintain pumps and clean your sump less often.
It also helps reduce the buildup of ammonia and nitrate-producing organic waste by removing it from the system. Rotate and replace your filter socks regularly to keep the water clean and healthy for your fish and corals.
Ideal For:
Reef keepers whose sump has a sock holder that takes a plastic ring
- Hobbyists who change socks often and want quick, clean swaps
- Tanks that need first-stage filtration for food debris, waste, and dust
