Featuring intuitive push-button controls, it allows aquarists to increment pump speed up or down to dial in foam height in response to changing bioloads. Installation & Set-Up Guidelines:
Disconnect the 24V DC power supply adapter from the wall outlet and the existing controller.
Unscrew the waterproof cable connector joining the old controller lead to the DCAIR 1.0 skimmer pump cord.
Mount the new IP-DCAIR-1-CTL unit on an interior cabinet wall above the sump water line using mounting screws or heavy-duty mounting tape.
Align the pins and screw the pump connection lead firmly onto the new controller harness port.
Plug the 24V DC power supply jack into the controller input port, restore wall power, and set your desired pump speed setting.
Pro Tips:
- Always Mount Above Water Line. Never allow the controller module to rest on the sump floor or hang below water level. Always mount it high on the interior stand wall to prevent condensation and salt creep from entering the rear wire entries.
- Utilize Soft-Start Feed Mode. When feeding fish or dosing plankton, press the "Feed" button instead of pulling the power plug. The 10-minute timer automatically shuts off skimmer foam and ramps back up gently, preventing sudden skimmer cup overflows when the cycle ends.
