24V Power Center and HYDROS Controller for System-Critical Reef Equipment

The HYDROS Kraken 24V Power Center is an energy center and a controller in one. It has eight individually controlled 24V DC Force Ports built to replace the power supplies on flow pumps, return pumps, and LED lights. That clears away power bricks and wall warts and cuts down wire clutter. Cables are required and sold separately.

It also has four 12V Drive Ports for cabinet lighting, ATO pumps, and solenoids. An external industrial-grade Mean Well power supply provides up to 20A/480W, and the Kraken is designed to pass ETL/UL certification. It is passively cooled with no fans. As a full HYDROS controller, it can link to other HYDROS controllers to form a collective, and you can control it from anywhere with the HYDROS cloud-based app. It is engineered, built, and supported in the USA.

Pro Tips:

• Order your cables with the Kraken. Every device needs an adapter cable: a Force Port Adapter Cable for 24V devices or a Drive Port Cable for 12V devices. The WaveEngine, WaveEngine LE, and Control X10 need a Force Port Power Cable instead. All are sold separately.
• Add a backup battery. The Kraken includes a battery backup cable but not the battery. You can use any 12V lead acid battery, from small sealed units to large arrays. The internal charger can be turned off if you use your own charger.
• Link it to other HYDROS devices. The two Command Bus ports connect to other HYDROS controllers, so devices in your collective can share decisions and back each other up.
