This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse, or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of the owner's or his agent's first knowledge of the defect.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given the first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature, however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.

- Unplug the Aquatrance 2000 recirculation pump and shut down your CO2 solenoid feed lines. Disconnect your inlet/outlet effluent feed lines and drain the reactor body completely.
- Locate the union locking nuts holding the old, damaged hard plumbing tree to the side and intake ports of the reactor body cylinder.
- Spin the union nuts counter-clockwise by hand to unlock the connections, and slide the damaged hard-plumbing assembly away from the acrylic body.
- The Critical Gasket Inspection: Inspect the embedded rubber O-rings located inside the receiving collars of the reactor ports. Wipe them clean with a soft rag. Pro Tip: If your original plumbing cracked due to hard mineral scale, take this opportunity to wipe down the rubber gaskets with a thin film of reef-safe silicone grease to keep them flexible and watertight.
- Take your fresh ROP-ACR140-PK replacement plumbing kit and align the cross-section manifold lines with the upper and lower connection ports of the reactor tower.
- Thread each union nut clockwise onto the reactor threads by hand. Tighten until snug. Warning: Tighten entirely by hand. Never use channel locks, wrenches, or metal pliers on the plastic union rings, or you will snap the soft PVC threads or crack the clear acrylic reactor mounts.

- Verify Your Pump Model Variant Before Buying This Kit. Because Reef Octopus has produced the popular CR140 platform for many years, there are multiple generational versions out in the wild. This replacement plumbing manifold (ROP-ACR140-PK) is custom-molded to match the modern configuration running the Aquatrance 2000 water pump. If you are attempting to maintain an older legacy CR140 unit from prior to the model shift that runs on the vintage, blocky OTP Pump, the physical lengths and port spacing dimensions are entirely different and this manifold will not align. Verify your pump is stamped with the "Aquatrance" logo before checking out.
- Never permanent-glue or use PVC cement on these modular connections. Even though this replacement plumbing assembly is crafted from standard black marine PVC, it is completely designed to function as a tool-free, friction-sealed loop using the pre-installed union collars. You should never apply permanent PVC solvent cements, purple primers, or thread tape to the reactor ports. The system depends completely on the thick rubber sealing O-rings inside the compression sleeves to maintain its watertight siphon. Gluing these links solid will permanently prevent you from breaking down your reactor for its quarterly media descaling or annual pump impeller service.
- Execute a Citric Acid Circulation Flush Every 6 Months to Prevent Valve Freezing. Because calcium reactors operate by intentionally supersaturating the internal water column with melted calcium carbonate and concentrated magnesium elements, mineral scale will naturally precipitate inside the hot, high-friction zones of your plumbing lines over time. This mineral crust will slowly build up inside the cross-sections of the PVC kit, restricting your fluid updraft velocity and lock-binding the metric threads.
