Refillable DI cartridge for RO/DI systems
The IceCap RO/DI Refillable DI Cartridge is an empty replacement housing for the deionization stage of an IceCap RO/DI system. It ships without resin. You supply your own DI resin, pack it into the cartridge, and reuse the same housing for every refill going forward.
The cartridge fits standard 10in filter canisters, so it works in IceCap RO/DI systems as well as other compatible RO/DI setups. Because it's a reusable housing rather than a sealed cartridge, you control the type and freshness of resin going into your system every time.

Pro Tips:
- Buy the resin separately before you check out. This cartridge ships empty, so you'll need DI resin on hand before you can put it to use. Order both together to avoid a system that's down for water production.
- Pack the resin down firmly. Loosely packed resin lets water channel around it instead of through it, which shortens the effective life of your DI stage. Tap the cartridge gently on a hard surface while filling to help the resin settle.
- Install the cap upright every time. The colored cap needs to face up for water to flow through the cartridge correctly. Double-check orientation after every refill before closing the canister.

Instructions:
- Remove the DI cartridge from the filter canister.
- Unscrew the top cap from the cartridge and remove the foam ring.
- Pour in DI resin (sold separately), packing it down tightly by gently tapping the cartridge to help the resin settle.
- Keep filling until the resin is packed tightly and flush with the rim of the cartridge.
- Place the foam ring back inside the top cap and screw the cap back onto the cartridge.
- Install the filled cartridge into the canister with the colored cap facing up.
- Once the resin is exhausted, repeat the process with fresh resin rather than replacing the cartridge itself.
