The CL9000EXT eliminates this bottleneck by using a high-torque motorized lid to mechanically wipe the neck wall clean multiple times per day.

This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
- Remove the existing collection cup lid from your Reef Octopus SRO-9000EXT.
- Secure the reinforced squeegee blade assembly onto the drive shaft of the CL9000EXT lid.
- Seat the CL9000EXT lid onto the collection cup, ensuring the blades are centered inside the massive neck.
- Connect the industrial power supply to the motor and plug it into a commercial timer or LSS controller.
- Program the cleaner to run for 25–30 seconds, four times per day.
- Every 6 months, inspect the blades for any trapped grit to prevent acrylic scratching.
Pro Tips:
Utilize short, frequent cycles to maintain torque. Because the SRO-9000EXT neck is so large, waste buildup creates significant drag. Running the blades for 30 seconds every 6 hours is more efficient than a long, single daily run.
Pair with an industrial-sized waste collector. The CL9000EXT ensures your skimmer is removing peak amounts of waste. In a system of this size, this can lead to multiple gallons of skimmate per day. Ensure your waste container is plumbed with a safety shut-off.
Always use a dedicated controller. Continuous operation will wear down the industrial motor and the silicone blades prematurely. To ensure long-term reliability in a commercial setting, automate the cleaning cycles with short bursts.
