How to Use the Seneye Float:
- Remove your Seneye device from any existing suction cup mount (if applicable)
- Insert the Seneye device into the float accessory
- For light monitoring: Position the device with the light sensor facing upward to capture direct, continuous light readings
- For general monitoring: Position the device with sensors submerged in the water
- Gently place the float on the water's surface in your pond, aquarium, or sump
- Position the float in an area with minimal surface agitation for best results
- Ensure the USB cable has adequate length and slack to allow natural float movement
- Monitor your seneye.me dashboard for continuous readings
Important Notes:
- In areas with high aeration or strong surface agitation, the Seneye device may register as "out of water," preventing data uploads to your dashboard
- If this occurs, relocate the float to a calmer area of your aquarium or pond
- For sump use, position away from return pump outlets or areas with excessive turbulence
