Large Calcium Reactor Ideal for Public Aquariums, Fish Farms, and Aquaculture Centers up to 4000 Gallons
The Reef Octopus 350PRO Commercial Calcium Reactor is developed specifically for the needs of the commercial sector including public aquariums, fish farms, and aquaculture centers up to 4,000 US Gallons.
High-performance reverse flow design, superior craftsmanship, and efficient recirculation pump2-year pump warranty are just a few of the features of the Super Reef Octopus calcium reactors. Our Commercial Calcium Reactors come with our very own high water volume Water Blaster pumps which come standard with Silicone Carbide shafts and bearings, this means no worries of moving parts freezing up causing broken shafts.
Equipped with a pH probe holder to monitor PH inside the first chamber of the reactor and built-in bubble counters to monitor Co2 drip rates. to help you meet the challenging task of maintaining alkalinity, calcium, and trace elements, consider adding a Super Reef Octopus calcium reactor to your aquarium system.
Equipped with the dependable and super-efficient Water Blaster 12500W recirculation pump, and features independent flow valves so the user can independently control the flow of media within the reactor.
Key Features
Industrial Scale Framework: Effortlessly satisfies the high mineral draw associated with large-scale small polyp stony (SPS) displays and multi-tank coral installations.
Water Blaster Power House: High-efficiency, 2,600 GPH max-flow recirculation pump yields immense torque and massive head pressure parameters.
CO2 Recirculation System: Captures and recycles pockets of undissolved gas collecting in the upper neck assembly, extending the operational lifecycle of your pressurized CO2 bottles.
Automation Ready Probe Port: Securely houses electronic pH controller probes directly inside the primary mixing zone for reliable, automated gas solenoid execution.
Pressure-Sealed Integrity: Built with heavy-wall union connections and secure top-flange fastening hardware to ensure 100% leak-proof dry cabinet or external floor deployment.

- Unfasten the upper heavy-duty flange thumbscrews and lift away the sealing lid from the primary 14-inch cast acrylic tower.
- Rinse your preferred high-quality, large-grain coarse aragonite media thoroughly with RO/DI water to clear out fine powder dust, then pack up to 65 Liters into the chamber body.
- Re-seat the lid flange, verifying that the heavy structural silicone gasket rests completely flat against the collar, and torque down the fastening hardware evenly.
- Insert your electronic pH controller probe into the designated primary chamber compression port and tighten the locking nut to establish a watertight seal.
- Plumb your external system feed water pump (capable of delivering 600–1,000 GPH) and your regulated CO2 line to their respective intake connection adapters.
- Fill the reactor tower completely with water to displace any trapped air pockets, verify water is discharging down-stream, select your internal valve adjustments, and plug the Water Blaster 10000 into a GFCI outlet.
Pro Tips:
- Coarse Media Only. Always utilize a high-quality, large-grain coarse aragonite media (such as large coral bones or premium coarse chips) inside the CR-350PRO. Fine, sandy, or small-grained media will rapidly melt down into a dense, muddy sludge inside the acidic internal environment. This mud will choke the lower distribution plate, stall water flow, and potentially bind or permanently score the Water Blaster pump's internal shaft assembly.
- Failsafe Solenoid Programming. To protect your commercial system from over-acidification, always plug your CO2 regulator solenoid into an electronic aquarium controller or dedicated pH monitor. Program the controller to instantly cut power to the CO2 gas solenoid if the internal chamber pH dips below 6.5. This failsafe keeps the aragonite from turning into mush during an unforeseen system fluctuation.
- Effluent Scaling Protocols. Because the effluent fluid leaving the reactor is highly saturated with calcium and carbonate ions, small mineral crusts (calcium scaling) can slowly precipitate inside the discharge plumbing line over time. Inspect your daily drip or flow rate weekly. Every few months, clear out the line lines by flushing a brief run of warm RO/DI water or a mild white vinegar solution through the effluent plumbing to dissolve hidden mineral blockages.
