- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of the owner's or his agent's first knowledge of the defect.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given the first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature, however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.

- Unplug your Reef Octopus Classic 150-SSS protein skimmer pump from its electrical wall outlet. Lift the full skimmer out of your sump and move it to a clear workspace.
- Remove the collection cup, unthread the output valve assembly, and take off the internal bubble diffusion plate to expose the Aquatrance 2000S pump in the skimmer base.
- Pull the soft flexible silicone airline tubing away from the barbed intake nipple on your old, worn venturi nozzle. Slide the pump slightly out of its retention tracks if needed to gain clearance.
- Slide the old venturi straight out and away from the suction port of the front pump volute cover. Pro Tip: If dried salt creep or calcium scaling has locked the plastic parts together, soak the joint in warm water and white vinegar for 10 minutes before pulling.
- Push your fresh ROP-AQ150S-V space saver venturi nozzle firmly over the center intake ring of the volute cover until it sits squarely against the shoulder stop.
- Re-attach your silicone airline back onto the barbed vertical nipple, lower your bubble diffusion assembly back into place, slide the pump back down into its floor slots, and place the skimmer back into your sump.

- Never Mistake This Space Saver Adapter for the Standard ROP-AQ2000-V Version. Because Reef Octopus operates two distinct styles of the Aquatrance 2000S skimmer pump intake across their lines, it is incredibly easy to buy the wrong part by mistake. The standard Classic 150-INT or Classic 160-INT in-sump skimmers use an extended, long-necked venturi horn (ROP-AQ2000-V). If you try to force that standard long part inside an internal Classic 150-SSS Space Saver body, the horn will ram straight into the clear acrylic wall, making it impossible to drop the pump flat. Always select this short ROP-AQ150S-V variant if your pump is enclosed inside the body tower.
- Routinely Scrub the Internal Air Nipple to Eliminate Silent Salt Clogging. If you notice your space saver skimmer's performance dropping off over time, or if the water level inside the column keeps overflowing inexplicably, the problem is almost always a hard salt clog inside the venturi rather than a mechanical pump failure. Because the pump aggressively draws in ambient air, saltwater will naturally splash back into the line, drying out and creating a hard column of white calcium or salt creep inside the narrow intake nozzle. This restriction chokes off air draw, causing the pump to pull only water and flood the skimmer cup. Every 4 to 6 weeks, slide a small pipe cleaner or a stiff bristle brush through the air nipple to keep paths completely clear.
- Never Use Pliers or Hand Tools to Force the Venturi Onto the Volute Ring. Because this genuine OEM part is molded to exceptionally tight tolerances to form a perfect hydraulic vacuum seal, pressing the rigid plastic components together dry can sometimes feel very stiff. Avoid the temptation to grab a pair of household metal pliers to force the pieces together, as this will easily split the ABS plastic collar. Instead, wipe a tiny drop of fresh RO water inside the receiving sleeve of the new venturi. This acts as a safe, clean lubricant, allowing the adapter to slide into place smoothly without over-stressing the plastic structure.
