All four viewing faces are made from 5mm low-iron glass, removing impurities to ensure transparency and true color display of livestock and corals. The seams are sealed with clear German silicone for a borderless look. Its balanced square shape allows for uniform PAR lighting from clamp-on or pendant nano LEDs, ideal for growing lawns of dwarf hairgrass, maintaining nano planted layouts, or raising ornamental shrimp.

- To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
- To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
- To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
- That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
- That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
- Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
Instructions:
- Carefully unbox your IC-AQCB11 tank on a completely flat, clear workspace. Do not remove the black self-leveling foam mat permanently bonded to the bottom glass panel.
- Position the aquarium in its final location on a dedicated, level, sturdy desk, counter, or approved aquarium stand. Warning: Filled with water and heavy stones, this nano setup weighs nearly 110 lbs and must sit on a surface that provides continuous, unbroken support across its entire 13.8-inch square base.
- If utilizing a mini hang-on-back filter or internal corner filter, install your equipment at the back pane centered to establish an even circular flow circulation path.
- Arrange your soil, stones, and driftwood carefully inside the dry tank. Pro Tip: Because the glass is rimless, use plastic tools or place cardboard protectors over the panels to prevent accidental scratches during hardscape positioning.
- Place a small sheet of plastic wrap or a clean paper towel directly over your substrate to diffuse the water stream, then slowly siphon or pour in your water to avoid disturbing your design.
- Fill the water level to within 0.5 inches of the polished upper rim, install your rim-clamping desktop LED light fixture, turn on your filtration system, and check all seams to ensure smooth operation.
Pro Tips:
- Utilize an Auto Top-Off System to Prevent Rapid Salinity and Parameter Fluctuations. Because nano cube enclosures utilize an open-top, rimless format, evaporation occurs quickly. In an 11.3-gallon system, losing even half a gallon of water to evaporation will cause a sharp spike in salinity (if saltwater) or a fast concentration of dissolved minerals (if freshwater). Installing a compact auto top-off (ATO) system inside your filtration loop keeps your water line stable and prevents your return filter pump from running dry and burning out.
- Always Double-Check Surface Leveling Across Both Horizontal Axes. Rimless glass enclosures are uniquely sensitive to twisting stress when placed on home office desks or cabinets. Because a cube distributes its weight symmetrically, if the surface sags or tilts toward one corner, gravity will twist the clear silicone seams unevenly. Before adding any water, rest a bubble level directly across the top polished edges from front-to-back and left-to-right. Use structural shims beneath the furniture legs rather than directly under the glass to secure a perfect level layout.
- Stock with Micro Invertebrates and Tiny Fish to Preserve Visual Scale. A geometric cube layout expands your vertical landscaping area, but total horizontal swimming lane distance is compact. Avoid large, fast-swimming open-water schooling fish. Instead, design your cube around colorful freshwater ornamental shrimp (such as Caridina or Neocaridina strains) alongside tiny nano-schooling species like Chili Rasboras, Celestial Pearl Danios, or a single prize male Betta. A small group navigating this deep environment delivers immense visual scale while keeping the bioload highly stable.
